On the hunt for mini makeup products? If you read my post on how to pack makeup for a flight, you know that I keep a stash of travel-size makeup products. Even though my travel makeup stash has grown over the years, I am always on the hunt for more miniature versions of my favorite products since minis are so perfect for traveling. They’re a key part of my list of must have travel items for women!

I always used to just rely on my local drugstore for mini makeup products but the selection was so limited: toothpaste, shampoo and deodorant.  This girl needs more than that!  If you’re also on the hunt for miniature makeup, I’ve rounded up some great sets and stores that have good selections of mini sized makeup products.

Makeup Brands with Miniature Makeup Products

A great source for miniatures is ready-made sets of products from your favorite brands or sampler sets – check these out for starters:

This travel mini makeup set has pretty much everything you need.  It’s from Clinique and it’s less than $30.  Woohoo!

Benefit nails it every time with their makeup miniatures.  If you’re going somewhere warm, check out this set which is perfect for a bronzed glow.  You can also check out First Class Flirts and Sizzlin Six.  Beauty Score is awesome too!

This beauty sampler set has Bumble & Bumble and Living Proof hair products, Murad skin care and Supergoop sunscreen to name a few.

For nail polish, check out this mini set – it’s by Bliss, and I love that all of the colors are nude-ish…so that it won’t even matter if you happen to chip your polish while you’re traveling.

This Smashbox Try-It Kit has minis of primers, eyeliner, and gloss.

Fekkai hair minis to ease the pain of hotel hair dryers.

MAC also recently launched miniature versions of some of their best beauty and skincare products.

Pro Travel Tip: These days, travel can be more uncertain than ever. Check for any COVID-related restrictions at your destination, and never travel without travel insurance! I recommend SafetyWing, because they have flexible + affordable insurance plans, and also cover COVID-related impacts on your trip (not all companies do)!

Where to shop for Mini Makeup Products

Still looking for more?  Here are a few stores that have well-stocked selections of mini beauty products for skin, hair, nails and makeup:

Sephora: I have been a loyal Sephora customer for YEARS and only just recently learned that they have a dedicated part of their website for travel-size makeup and beauty items!  Their collection includes Travel-size makeup, mini versions of skincare products, perfumes, bath & body, and hair products.

Ulta: Tons of travel-size skincare products, including Philosophy, Dermalogica, Bliss and Murad

Origins: a good selection of single-use face masks and other travel-size skincare kits

Beauty.com: Tons of travel beauty products including hair and skin care products.  Don’t miss the mini versions of Oscar Blandi, Jack Black and Supergoop.  Also a great special offer: a travel bag filled with miniature goodies when you spend $100.

Nordstrom: High end selection of travel-size products including hair, makeup, nail, perfume, and skin care.  They also sell great sets that include both a full-size version of a product along with a travel-size version (why don’t more stores do this?).  Cute travel-sized makeup bags, too!

There are also a few websites out there that are specifically dedicated to travel-size beauty products (LOVE!).  Check out:

Hope this helps keep you in check with the TSA!
