You guys know how much I love packing dresses when I travel. Not only does a single outfit take up less space, but wearing a dress makes getting ready so much easier.
It’s just one less thing to think about, which always works for me. Plus, I always feel just a little bit more put together when I’m wearing a dress, even though the whole thing really didn’t take much putting together at all.
Now that it’s officially FALL (raise those PSLs!!), I have been turning to dresses with sleeves as my packing favorites for business trips. An entire outfit within one piece of clothing just makes me smile, knowing I can sleep just a little longer because getting ready won’t require trying to match anything.
Dresses with sleeves are always on my shopping list, but I’ve noticed that there are so many on both ends of the spectrum: 100% frump to 100% cocktail. It’s hard to find a good in-between version that’s stylish so here are a few of my current favorites for your own inspiration!
This Tory Burch number has a beautiful pattern and the fabric looks like silk but is wrinkle-resistant. Perfect for your next trip, I think!
This Tahari A-line dress comes in a ton of colors and is under $150. The silhouette is super-flattering and would also look beautiful with a skinny belt. Oh and it comes in petite sizes, too. Done.
DVF wrap dresses are timeless and incredibly well-made. This one has a black-and-white graphic print that would go with pretty much anything.
J.Crew also does it again with a few beautiful finds: this structured knit dress in a gorgeous color called “midnight”, and this wool dress which admittedly looks a little boring all by itself, but would be a great backdrop for some of their edgy jewelry pieces like this one.
