I have been loving every minute of summer but I am also so excited for three trips that I have coming up in September! You’ll be hearing more about each of these as they come and go but here’s the lineup.
First up: A Labor Day trip to Denver to visit family. I’ll be hangin’ with my brother and sister-in-law and they are just so much fun. Denver is also the perfect long weekend destination! There are so many ways to soak up the beautiful scenery and just enjoy the city – from hiking in the mountains, to shopping in Cherry Creek, to visiting one of many luxurious spas. No matter how we decide to spend the weekend, I know it will be really relaxing and fun.
Next up is another long weekend in Napa. I have never spent a lot of time exploring Napa and the more I learn about the area, the more excited I am to check it out! We’re staying at the Hotel Yountville which looks absolutely beautiful. On our agenda for the weekend is wine tasting, hanging by the pool, and enjoying Napa’s amazing restaurants. Be prepared for some shopping posts once I return because I have a feeling that I will need a new wardrobe – just one size bigger.
At the end of September I am heading to New York City for work. September is my absolute favorite time to visit New York, mostly because all of the little hints of fall are starting to show up – but the weather is still beautiful. I’ll be busy with work during the week but am planning to stay over the weekend and hope to do some shopping. There is nothing like fall shopping and nothing better than fall shopping in New York! If the shopping stars align, this trip might be one of my rare exceptions to my carry-on-only rule, just because I’ll need the space for new clothes. Bring it on!
Two weeks and counting until the September travel-mania begins!
